    How Camden's residents deal with their river flood or rainwater problems

    How Our Rivers Shape City Life: Show the influence of Camden’s rivers on the daily life of its residents, the local economy, and the urban landscape.

    Rules

    • Please name your files using the following format:

      FirstName_LastName_Title_Entry#.jpg

      or

      FirstName_LastName_Title_Entry#.mp4

    For e.g.: if your name is Jon Compton and you are submitting 3 entries, your second file will be

    named Jon_Compton_FloodingInCamden_2.jpges

    • Participants may submit up to 5 entries total, in either or both categories.

    • Entries will be judged based on relevance to the theme, creativity, technical quality, and ability to tell a compelling story about the impact of flooding, community resilience, and the role of rivers in shaping Camden's city life.

    • Each entry should be accompanied by a brief caption (max 100 words) explaining its relevance to flooding or coastal resilience in Camden.

    • All submissions must be original work. Basic editing is permitted, but the integrity of the image/footage must be maintained.

    • No text overlays or captions may be added directly to photos or videos. However, capturing images of existing text (e.g., signs, graffiti, or other text occurring in the environment) is permitted.

    • All content must be captured within Camden city limits.

    • Participants are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for identifiable individuals or private property featured in their submissions

    • By participating in the contest, you retain full copyright ownership of your submitted images and videos. However, by submitting your work, you grant the Center for Environmental Transformation (CFET) and its affiliated partners an unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, distribute, and reproduce the submitted content for purposes related to the Coastal Resilience Master Plan for Camden, including but not limited to print publications, digital media, social media, and community events. Proper credit will be given to the creators in all instances of use.

    • Submissions that fail to meet ethical standards will not be considered.

  • Photo Submission Guidelines:

    • Format: JPEG (preferred) or PNG.

    • Color Mode: RGB

    • Resolution: Minimum of 300 DPI at dimensions of at least 3000x2000 pixels.

    • File Size: Maximum of 10 MB per image.

    • Aspect Ratio: Preferably 3:2 or 4:3 aspect ratio.

    Video Submission Guidelines:

    • Format: MP4 (preferred) or MOV.

    • Resolution: 4K (3840x2160 pixels) recommended; 1080p (1920x1080 pixels) is the minimum acceptable resolution.

    • Frame Rate: 30fps

    • File Size: Maximum of 500MB per video.

    • Aspect Ratio: 16:9 aspect ratio.

    • Subtitles/Captioning: If applicable, please include subtitles in SRT format.

    • If your video has audio, please ensure it is clear and audible.

    • The contest is open to all Camden residents and those working or studying in Camden.

    • Winning entries will be featured in CFET's Coastal Resilience Master Plan for Camden and shared on social media.

    • Selected entries may be displayed at future community events related to the coastal resilience project.
